Can we just use the website copy that is already on my website?
Yes, maybe, and no. Helpful answer, right?
Yes, we will use some of your website copy. You will have SEO equity that you can’t afford to lose. That being the case, you will have website copy that your users and Google have both responded well to. We’d like to keep what’s working.
The rest, well, that will either need to be modified or replaced altogether. Odds are good you’re going to need a considerable amount of new copy. If you didn’t, then you probably wouldn’t be looking for a website. There’s obviously some things that aren’t working or things that could be doing better. Guaranteed, your copy is on that list.
I’m not a writer and I don’t have one on staff, can you take care of all the copywriting for me?
Yes, with your help. You know your business best and we know how to communicate. We’ll need to ask you a bajillion questions to understand your business, but we can handle the heavy pen and paper lifting, no problem.
I don’t have the time and I don’t want to nurture leads or answer questions, I just want to get more leads, so what can we do?
There's two ways to take this. One, it’s a legitimate concern. You’re overworked and taxed to the max, you honestly have zero time to spare with nurturing cold and semi-warm leads. If that’s the case, then no worries, we’ll help you build and plan your website to do the brunt if not all of the nurturing your leads will require.
That being said, human involvement that delivers personalized touches is always ideal and will perform considerably better than even the best automated plan.
If, on the other hand, you technically have the time, but you just don’t see the value in doing so, then that’s another conversation. We can still help, but we’d like to understand a little more on what you actually envision for your website if not to help you get leads.
Our questions will involve your customer personas, the buyer’s journey your customers face, and your specific website goals… essentially, stage 1. If you see the value there, then continue on, we’re a good fit. If you don’t, then we’re probably not your best choice.
I don’t think blogging is relevant and I don’t have the time for it, is that all this stage is about?
No, your marketing strategy is so much more. Yes, it does involve “blogging” but we don’t really care for that moniker or the practice it usually puts in peoples’ minds. We prefer to call it a long-term content marketing strategy.
